This one really hit home for me manyata! I live in Bhopal currently but I’m from lucknow and tbh it took me a whole year to find this place livable. There were a lot of things that were making it difficult for me to feel so, like the way of speaking, the absence of that sukoon you feel in Lucknow, family obviously and idk just an emptiness almost. Glad I found good people here. My landlord who’s only sweet with me and my very sweet aunty who provides me daily yummy home cooked food through her small tiffin service. So lucky to find such people here! You’re right, the kind of people you meet can make or break a place for you! Loved this raw and honest article!
